$170.00

63 Motorsports / ARP Camshaft Bolts [ 4 pcs ] $170.00

Inventory Status: In stock, ships in 3-5 days.

Stock bolts are one-time use. These are essential for camshaft adjuster rebuilds. The set of modified ARP bolts clamp down a maximum of 132 Nm or 98 Lbs Ft of force keeping the cams secure. The Chromoly being corrosion resistant will be perfectly situated in a surplus of oil. Similar corrosion risk as the rest of the steel components within the valvetrain heads: very low to zero inside a well lubricated environment! The appeal of chromoly steel is its astoundingly high tensile and yield strength compared to its counterpart stainless steel rendering it reusable multiple times over.

These bolts were so controversial that ARP promoted it upon its release and then took it down shortly after for having the 63 Motorsports branding right on the bolt heads.

Replaces item 185 and 215 in the exploded view with the part no. N910105012018. Holds the Camshaft Adjusters and the Camshafts as one timed assembly. 4 pieces replaces the TTY bolts on both banks. The bolts are the perfect addition to the SMALL PACKAGE Genuine Install Kit.

Use on Stock Camshafts or Stage I Camshafts. Also suitable for Big Cam upgrades.

Follow the factory two-stage torque down of 45 Nm (33 Lbs Ft) and then 90 degrees for Stock OEM Cast Camshafts.

Follow the two-stage torque down sequence of 45 Nm (33 Lbs Ft) and then 132 Nm to 98 Lbs Ft for COREX strengthened or Billet aftermarket camshafts.
